Our Team

At Indimax we have a core team who care for each and every client, and then we bring in specialist Directors, Cinematographers, Set Designers, and Technicians to meet each client’s individual needs.

We’re film-makers and story-tellers through-and-through. We’re proud of the way we take ‘ordinary’ and turn it into ‘captivating’. We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built with every client we’ve ever had. We’re proud of the looks on our clients faces as they see how we’ve captured and transformed their organisation into a truly engaging story.

Our core creative team is led by:

Peter Brewer

Owner/Editor/Colourist

A specialist in ‘Post Production’, Peter brings tremendous expertise and a meticulous eye for detail. Peter spends his days cooped up in the ‘den’, an editing and colour grading suite where he brings every Indimax film to life, one shot at a time.

Ben Whimpey

Owner/Producer/Director

A Veteran of the film and TV industry and Masters graduate of AFTRS, Ben’s the guy who gets things done. He is an experienced Producer with International Documentaries, US Feature Films, and numerous episodes of Australian TV to his name. Ben takes either a Producer or a Director role for every client at Indimax and brings his experience, drive, and creativity to every film we make.

Chris Field

Creative/Producer/Director

As a creative, writer, and Director with experience spanning TV, short film, and feature films, Chris is ideally placed to meet with clients, get to know their business and to develop the story-telling ideas that will set their brand apart. Chris’s Directorial work has won acclaim across the globe and his creative work has transformed many a ‘boring’ business into an engaging, relevant brand.

Amy is our ‘creative genius’ and brings that special ‘something’ to everything she touches. Having written and directed for TV, Film and stage, Amy brings a wealth of experience and a unique creative spark to every project.
